Based in South London.

I use my classical training as a mosaicist to examine the inaccessibility of well-made objects. Understanding high-level craft as a radical practice that is both at odds with and contingent upon structures of economic inequality, I investigate the way in which objects are enriched by storytelling and provenance, and consumption becomes patronage and preservation. I study these processes through mosaic and glass sculptural works that reference the transformations that occur when live bodies become luxury objects. Often referencing the functions of skin as barrier, interface, ornament and commodity, my work combines biological viscera with allusions to haute couture and science fiction.

I am also a co-director of MEZZANINE, an artist-run non-profit art space located in the Bermondsey Triangle. Established as a Community Interest Company in September 2024, MEZZANINE was founded to support artists through the provision of affordable studio, exhibition, and event spaces. With eight enclosed multi-occupant studios, a shared multipurpose workspace, a music studio, and gallery, we provide a much-needed space for artists to develop and showcase a diverse range of creative practices.
